When Can I Apply?
Applications for Art on the River featuring Craft Monster Market will be open from June2 until June 25 at 12:00pm CST

How Do I Apply?
TO APPLY: complete the application form by Midnight on June 25, 2016. Acceptance letters will go out on July 1, 2016 and the non refundable booth fee of $65.00 is due no later than July 14, 2016.

How much Does it Cost to Apply?
There is no application fee for Craft Monster.

How big will the booth spaces be?
Craft vendors will get 10×10 spaces for their show tents

When do we find out if we’ve been accepted to participate?
All notifications will go out on July 1st, 2016

Who can apply to your show?
The intention of our show is to showcase the creativity found in the Saint Louis Area, and to empower the public to become involved by offering them skills and resources to learn more. Applicants include independent artists, crafters, and vintage curators.
****Sorry, we do not accept applications from independent consultants (ex: Tupperware, Avon, Jamberry, Arbonne).****

How are vendors and presenters chosen?
In an effort to make sure that everyone has a good experience selling at the Craft Monster market, we are handpicking artists and crafters that we feel are the best fit for the venue and event. This doesn’t mean that we don’t want you to participate or vend with us though! Please consider applying to be one of our presenters or table demos and show Saint Louis what you’re made of!

Art on the Rivers is in association with the Greenway Network. This show emphasizes eco-friendly or “green” products, as well as river themed items. Just by virtue of being Handmade, most items are green because they are reusable and reduce manufacturing waste while also being made locally and supporting our communities. Other examples of being “green” include upcycled/recycled, organic/natural materials,  and replacing a disposable item.

I’ve never done a workshop or demo before, but I have a really cool idea. Can you help me?
We’re so glad to hear that you’re still interested even though this might be something new to you! Our BLOG is a growing resource of content about tutorials, presentations, and workshops. If you’re looking for examples of ways to write proposals or questions to ask yourself during planning this is the place to look.

Can I share a booth with a friend?
One of the goals of Craft Monster and the Bright Ideas Expo is to show off the creativity of individuals within our community. While we would like to keep each space narrowed down to one maker or studio, we can certainly try to place you near to your friends.

What if I’m unable to attend?
If you’re unable to attend we’ll certainly understand, sometimes life happens. Please let us know as soon as you can so we can make adjustments to our schedule and let vendors on the waiting list know that we have a spot available.

All booth fees go into the show and are put towards web hosting, publicity and advertising, and materials to make the show as awesome as it can be. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to refund booth fees.

I’ve applied in the past but didn’t get in, should I try again?
Absolutely! Our goal is to showcase a wide variety of creative people and we look forward to seeing new ideas from our community each year.

I missed the deadline, can I still apply?
We’re so sorry, but due to the large amount of applications we receive, we’re unable to accept late applicants. If an accepted presenter or vendor needs to resign, we’ll choose from our waiting list of applicants to take their place. Please stay connected and try again next time!
